Occupational Therapy Foundations
Trauma Informed & Nervous System Based
About
Occupational Therapy Foundations is a collaborative team of occupational therapists with more than 20 years of high‑acuity experience across medical, educational, and community settings. The team includes clinicians with specialized backgrounds in education, neuro‑trauma, acute care, and complex medical needs, and one clinician with advanced expertise supporting children and adults who have experienced trauma related to sexual harm.
As a trauma‑responsive, neuro‑informed practice, we support kids, teens, and adults and their families with complex sensory, emotional, behavioral, physical and developmental needs.
Our work centers on neuro‑regulation, sensory engineering, and practical, sustainable strategies that promote safety, connection, and meaningful engagement across learning and life environments.
